Keep the story.
Skip the shock.
SceneShield is a free Chrome extension that hops over brief graphic and sexual moments on Netflix. A few seconds gone, the whole film still yours.
Free. No ads. No viewing history.
Set it once. Then just watch.
No buttons to press during the film. SceneShield works quietly in the background of Netflix.

Seconds, not scenes.
SceneShield only takes out the few seconds you’d rather not see. The dialogue, the tension and the plot all stay, so the story still makes sense.
You choose what goes.
Every title on Netflix shows how many moments have been flagged, so you know what to expect before you press play.

Questions? Fair.
Is it really free?
Yes. No subscription, no ads.
Does it work on my TV or phone?
Not yet. SceneShield is a Chrome extension, so it works when you watch Netflix in Google Chrome on a computer.
Will it catch every moment?
It skips moments that have been flagged and reviewed. Lots of titles are still being covered, and each one shows how many moments are flagged so you know what to expect. Think of it as a comfort tool, not a guarantee.
Is it parental control?
No. Anyone using the computer can switch it off, so please don’t rely on it to protect children.
Who decides what gets skipped?
Viewers flag moments, and a real person reviews every flag before it is used for anyone.
Enjoy the film. Skip the shock.
SceneShield is coming to the Chrome Web Store very soon. It’s free.
